Weserbergland diptych

Two oil paintings of the view over the Weser valley

These two small paintings were ones started in Germany several years ago that I have only just got round to working on in the studio. I enjoy what happens when you work from imagination/memory on an image that began as an observational sketch.

  1. they look really interesting, peaceful with a natural order to the colours and the arrangement of shapes. I agree, i love what happens when the artist’s memory and imagination merge.
