Bosons and Fermions

An illustration for an article about the differences between bosons and photons and the scientists who worked these differences out. Lots of information to choose from so I decided I wanted the image to be a more developed version of a doodle I might create to help revise these things for a test: pictures of the scientists that set out the statistics each group follow, a shape that helps remind of those qualities (symmetry for the bosons, wave function for the fermions) and the names of the particles that fall into those categories within.

Illustration showing particles that obey Fermi-Dirac and Einstein-Bose statistics.

The article by Dr. Lily Asquith appeared in the Guardian online last month.
